A world of even deeper intrigue and subterfuge ensues, with characters grappling with existential threats to the nation and the world with their own battles (Confidential Information Provider) using the acronym MICE. Former CIA Director of Counterintelligence James Jesus Angleton, also known as “the Spy Poet,” described the intelligence game as a “forest of mirrors,” a phrase borrowed from a poem by T.S. Eliot’s poem is called Gerontsion (the title in Greek means “little old man” and the poem is an interior monologue about the thoughts and feelings of an older man, described through the eyes of a man who lived in post-war Europe for most of his life in the 19th century). In the intellectual world, in the search for truth, it is difficult to distinguish between reality and its reflection, an illusion if you will, one finds oneself in a “hall of mirrors”; As if… Presented by The Graham Norton Show: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). The Agency is a must-see for fans of spy thrillers. First of all, the cast is absolutely fantastic. It stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Richard Gere and Katherine Waterston. That cast has enough reasons to give it a five-times-rated try and, moreover, it is a really good show. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this show and many of the actors nominated for some awards during award season. The series follows an undercover CIA agent (Fassbender) who is ordered to abandon his secret life and return to the field with his ex-boyfriend (Waterston), whom he still loves. His love for her begins to interfere with his real life and his mission. If you’re a fan of spy thrillers or a good mystery series, give this one a try. You won’t be disappointed.
