A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rosak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using a voice is from one called “Mentats of Dune.” All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suc Doctors.. Okay, so I put off watching this honestly because every trailer seemed boring.
It’s definitely interesting
Tonight, out of sheer desperation for something new to watch, I broke down and decided to give it a try. You know what, I’m glad I did. The acting is decent, the world is solid, and there are some very dynamic characters.
The biggest drawback so far is the pacing
The first episode really dragged on until the very end, but I’m not going to lie, the ending was good. My only concern is that this might have the same problem as Rings of Power. A lot of buildup with a lack of delivery.
Only time will tell
I’ll update this once I manage to finish the entire series.
