Dexter creates a believable and very detailed portrait of, let’s say, a troubled sociopath

Engaging story, lots of detail and one of the best open walls
One of the parts of the show that I like the most is the emotions that ordinary people show, so Dexter is forced to imitate them. There are good laughs when Dexter’s fake emotions come true and he’s scared to death, as in his relationship with his “girlfriend” Rita, a mother of two and the victim of her cruel ex-boyfriend. I also like Jennifer Carpenter’s performance as Dexter’s sister Debra, she adds a nice touch to the show by not slipping into cliché.
