What a nasty piece of brother-in-law John Paul is (a very effective performance by Claes Bang). There’s always one of those nasty, horrible guys in the family.

So watching the siblings plot and act out John Paul’s death is a macabre treat! The magic is in the siblings’ relationship that is so real, the way they look at each other and bounce off each other.
I just want to be part of this wonderfully twisted family
An added bonus: the baffling insurance half-siblings who add entertainment value as they try to solve this mysterious case. I haven’t seen the Belgian version, but this British remake looks like it will hold its own, thanks to the performances, the playful direction and the script that has so much to offer after the first two episodes, enough to keep you hooked on this dark comedy thriller.
